Two of the newly promoted sides to stay up, one shocking inclusion in the bottom-five and much more ...

Arsenal and Liverpool to shine? Manchester city to continue their dominance? How will the bottom of the table look like? We, at Sportscorch have tried to answer all your queries with our own prediction table of the premier league 2018-19 season! (Humans > Super computers)

Here is the initial list of predicted bottom-five sides:

20. Cardiff City

It is going to be one long hard season for The Bluebirds as the newly promoted side will be looking to stay in the top tier and beat the drop. In spite of signing a couple of players on the deadline day, staying in the Premier League might be a tough task ahead for Neil Warnock’s side, considering the ambition showed by the other two promoted sides.

19. Southampton

Merely escaping relegation last season, Southampton was expected to have a busy transfer window, this summer. But, they have failed to secure any top signings and the departure of Dusan Tadic to Ajax adds to the misery of the club.

18. AFC Bournemouth

Following a relatively quiet transfer window, Eddie Howe will be highly dependent on his side which finished 12th last season, to replicate those performances in the upcoming campaign. However, majority of the clubs have splashed out the cash and have managed to complete few top deals which might take a toll on the survival chances of The Cherries.

17. Huddersfield Town

The team which was expected to finish in the bottom-three last season, somehow managed to survive, finishing four points above Swansea. They managed to score only 28 goals last season and with no proven goal scorer, they will possibly struggle again to find the net this season, depending heavily on their backline to stay rigid and secure few crucial points.

16. Watford

With Richarlison’s selling amount not invested in any big names, Watford will be facing an uphill task to finish higher than last season with almost the same squad. Watford failed to utilize the sublime start they made to the league last season as they crumbled down gradually from the top half of the table. We predict a hard season ahead for the Hornets unless they manage to sign few impact players during the winter window.

Stay tuned to Sportscorch as we will be posting our predictions for other clubs very soon!
